                                 MONITORING  SYSTEMS  NEWSLETTER.  JULY  2004

The contributions for the Monitoring Systems Work from Thailand by HS0ZEE, Om Sheridon Street, has been the biggest. He sends his report by a CD-Rom via the Postal system and I do not have the adequate capability here to upload all that he sends, so that all of you can appreciate the amount of patience and trouble he is taking for this work, apart from his tight schedules of work. I am sure the correspondent OM David Tuckerton, should be ready with his antenna now. We have not heard from Australia and Japan for the past two months.

The scenario has not much changed with DPR Korea, Eritrea, The Single letter Russian Beacons going strong as usual, with many of the data stations.

Though Sri Lankan National Society RSSL, has sent their papers to their Ministry, regarding the fishing trawlers using amateur frequencies, the activity in Sinhala from these trawlers, is as usual and going strong.

Please find the usual files nlaug04,log0704.xls and log0704-rast  for your perusal.

All the very best , 73
